Quelques informations sur "Back to Karkand", le futur DLC de BF3 attendu en décembre ont été postées sur battlefieldo.com:

Unlocks carried over to Vanilla BF3

All the weapons that you unlock while playing Back to Karkand expansion pack will be usable when playing Battlefield 3.

Introducing Assignments

WIth Back to Karkand will come a new feature called “Assignments”. These will essentially be objective based tasks you can accept and will gain rewards from it.

Enhanced Destruction

The Destruction will be turned up a new level in Back to karkand.

Maps with BF2 Flag Structure

The levels in Back to Karkand will bring back the traditional Conquest Assault Gameplay. What this means is one team will start off with most of the flags, and the other team will have to capture those. This is the traditional map format we saw in Battlefield 2.

Karkand stats contribute to global stats

Everything you earn in Karkand will be contributed towards your soldier’s global score.

All game modes available

You’ll be able to play all gamemodes on back to Karkand maps. That means Rush on Wake Island, oh lala!

A specific date has yet to be released but it’s right around the corner!

Parce que moi qui n'est que l'édition spéciale achetée en day one, ça m'arrangerait bien ^^

En soit, il y a édition limitée (avec le DLC "Back to Karkan") que j'ai acheté "Day One" et l'édition préco (qui est l'édition limitée mais avec le physical warfare, un truc qui te file des armes dont une partie est déblocable dans le jeu mais pas toutes, genre pas la FM88 du support)

nouveauté (ecran console mais sur pc pareil je pense) pour unlock des trucs avec le pack (d'apres les dev ca sera pour tout le monde, pack ou pas pack)

“We are also adding a new layer of persistence in the form of ten Assignments. These will be tracked no matter if you play a base game map or expansion pack map, and add a new way to unlock things in the game.
“Let’s take a closer look at the “Let it Rain” Assignment. To complete this assignment, players must score 20 kills with Light Machine Guns and two mortar kills. The game will keep track of how far along you have come to fulfill it. When you have met the requirements, you will unlock a new Back to Karkand weapon (with a matching set of dog tags) to use on any map including the base game. You will also unlock the new Creeping Death Assignment.
“As with all of the Assignments introduced in Back to Karkand, you can keep building towards these no matter if you play on regular maps or maps from the new expansion pack itself. Your regular persistence will also be intact and keep building up no matter what map you play – Back to Karkand is in this way completely integrated into the base game, including the ability to have a map rotation mixing base game maps with Back to Karkand maps.”
